Introduction to the topic  
— To open the displayed menu or information display,  
press the OK button ÿ fig. 24 or wait a few seconds until  
the menu or information display opens automatically.  
The infotainment system concentrates important  
vehicle functions and systems, e.g. eg menu settings,  
radio equipment or navigation system, in a single  
central control unit.  
Make settings in the menus  
— In the displayed menu, press the arrow key  
cha o ÿ fig. 24 until the desired menu option is  
highlighted. The option appears framed.  
General information on operation In  
the following section, all relevant information for making  
settings in the menu has been compiled.  
— Press the OK button ÿ fig. 24 to make the modifications  
you want. A tick indicates that the function or system  
in question is activated.

instructions to be observed can be found in a separate

WARNING  
If warnings about existing faults are displayed when  
the ignition is switched on, it may not be possible  
to make settings or display information in the manner  
described. In this case, go to a specialized workshop and  
request that the anomalies be repaired.  
If the driver is distracted it can lead to an accident and  
injury. Operating the infotainment system can distract  
attention from traffic.

responsibly.  
Open the vehicle settings menu  
— Switch on the ignition.  
After starting the engine with a deeply discharged  
or newly replaced 12-volt battery, some system  
settings (time, date, custom comfort settings, and  
schedules) and user accounts may be reset. have been  
misadjusted or erased. Check and correct these settings  
when the battery is sufficiently charged.  
— If necessary, switch on the infotain system

1 Display Areas  
The digital instruments display in real time values  
relating to engine power, temperature and  
acceleration, which are recorded by vehicle sensors.  
In this way, the driver has an overview of the driving  
dynamics.

Engine coolant temperature gauge: If the engine is  
subjected to high stress at high outside temperatures,  
the needle may move more clockwise. This is  
irrelevant as long as the control indicator does not  
light up or flash on the instrument panel display ÿ p.

Selecting Instruments and Setting Units The screen  
can display a maximum of three instruments  
simultaneously. All instruments can be selected

conditions, the needle remains in the central area. If  
the needle is in the lower left area, it means that the  
engine has not yet reached operating temperature.  
Avoid driving at high speed and strong acceleration

3 Saved Lap Times  
4 Start or continue timing (only possible with ignition on). Press  
Start to start timing. Timing starts automatically as soon  
as the vehicle moves forward. You can start with a new  
first lap if you have previously reset the statistics data to  
zero.  
5 Abort the current lap. The time of the  
lap is erased. The statistics show --:  
--:--.--.  
6 Finish timing.  
7 Stop timing or interrupt the current lap (in case of timing in  
progress).  
8 Start a new lap. The time of the last lap is saved and a new  
lap is started.  
The total time of the laps is shown in the statistics.  
9 Show split time. The stopwatch is

10 Show statistics after finishing or stopping timing (number of  
laps, total time, fastest and slowest lap, average of all times  
and values of all laps). Press the Reset function button  
to reset the statistic to zero.  
The stopwatch gives you the option of manually timing  
the lap times you have completed on a racetrack in the  
vehicle, saving them and comparing them with the best  
times previously measured.  
A maximum of 99 laps and a maximum time of 99 hours, 59  
minutes and 59 seconds can be saved. If one of these limit  
values is reached, the statistics data must be cleared before  
timing can be performed.

With the arrows you can switch between the stopwatch and the

when the vehicle is stopped.
