The Digital Cockpit is a digital instrument cluster
with a high-resolution color TFT display. By
selecting different information profiles, additional
indications can be displayed to those of classic
circular instruments, such as the rev counter or
the speedometer.

Information profiles
— Altitude. Digital indication of the current height above sea
level.
Using the Digital Cockpit option in the vehicle settings menu
of the infotainment system, you can choose between different
information profiles on specific topics ÿ p. 36. Depending on the
selected information profile, the digital instrument cluster displays
additional information in the center of the circular instruments, or
the circular instruments are hidden and the additional information
is displayed across the entire width of the screen.
— Navigation. Graphical representation of the navigation
tion by arrows.
— Compass. Digital indication of the compass.
—Audio . Digital indication of current audio playback.
Depending on the equipment, the number and content of the
selectable information profiles may vary.
You can choose between the following information profiles:

— Speed. Digital speed indication.
To do this, select the Navigation menu option in the instrument
panel ÿ p. 3. 4.
— Consumption. Graphic representation of current
consumption and digital indication of average consumption.
The navigation map can be displayed in three sizes. In the large
size the navigation map is displayed across the entire screen.
To adjust the size of the map, proceed as follows:

Rev counter
The beginning of the red area of the rev counter
indicates the maximum permitted engine speed for
all gears after running-in and operating at service
temperature.
Before reaching the red zone, you should shift to
the next higher gear, move the selector lever to the
D/S position or lift your foot off the accelerator.

NOTICE
· When the engine is cold, avoid high speeds of
the engine, its overrequest and acceleration.
Fuel tank almost empty
The control indicator lights up yellow. The reserve
fuel (red mark) is being used ÿ .
· To avoid engine damage, do not allow the
rev counter needle stays in the red area of the
scale for a long time.
— Refuel as soon as you get the chance.
Upshifting early helps reduce fuel consumption
and operating noise.
When the control indicator lights up, the aux, iliary
heater and the fuel-operated auxiliary heater are
switched off automatically.

— Turn off the engine and request the help of
specialized personnel.
WARNING
If you are driving with too low a fuel level, the
vehicle could stall in traffic; In addition, accidents
and serious injuries could occur.
· If the level in the fuel tank is too low, the fuel
may reach the engine irregularly, especially
when going up or down hills.
· The steering and assistance systems for the
driver and braking do not work if the engine
runs irregularly or shuts down due to lack of
fuel or irregular fuel supply.
