The anti-trap feature of the power windows can reduce the
risk of bruising when closing the windows.
The automatic lowering and raising function of the windows
does not work
If the 12 volt battery is disconnected or discharged without the
windows being completely closed, the automatic lowering and
raising function of the electric windows is deactivated and must
be reset:
If a window encounters resistance or an obstacle when closing,
it will reopen immediately ÿ .
— Check why the window has not been closed.
— Try closing the window again.
— Switch on the ignition.
— Close all doors and windows.
— If the closing process is interrupted again, the anti-trap function
stops working for a few seconds.
— Pull up the relevant window key and hold it in this position
for a few seconds.
— If the window still cannot be closed, it will stop in the
corresponding position. Pulling the button again within a few
seconds closes the window without the anti-trap function ÿ .
— Release the key, pull it up again and hold it in this position.
This restores the automatic lowering and raising function.
The function can be reset for a single window or for
several windows at the same time.
Closing the windows without the anti-trap function
— Try to close the window again by pulling the button, without
releasing it, within a few seconds. The anti-trap function will
be deactivated!
— If the closing process lasts more than a few seconds, the
anti-entrapment function is activated again. The window will
stop again if it encounters any resistance or an obstacle, and
will reopen automatically.
— If the window still cannot be closed, go to a specialized
workshop.
WARNING
Closing the windows without the anti-trap feature of the
power windows can cause serious injury.
· Always close the windows carefully.
