Caution  
Risk of damage to flexi‐  
ble joint.  
Do not allow the flexible  
joint to kink by more than  
10°.  
Install flexible joint so that  
it is not under tension.  
Do not damage wire  
mesh on decoupling ele‐  
ment.  
❑ Protect catalytic converter from damage by knocks and impact  
❑ Removing and installing ⇒ page 526  
❑ Aligning exhaust system free of tension ⇒ page 524 .  
7 - Lambda probe after catalytic converter - G130-
