– Turn adjustment screw -arrow A- to adjust beam range.  
There is no provision for lateral adjustment.  
Note  
The adjuster screw for the left fog light is a mirror image.  
Other additional lights  
Additionally retrofitted lights of other systems must be checked  
and set according to valid guidelines.  
4.52  
Sliding sunroof drains: checking for  
blockage, cleaning if necessary  
Open sliding sunroof completely.  
– Check water drain at front -arrows- for contamination, and  
clean if necessary.  
– Carefully pour tap water from a measuring beaker into water  
drain at front. Proceed with caution to make sure no water en‐  
ters the vehicle interior.  
– Check under vehicle if water emerges in area of front wheel  
housing.  
– Repeat procedure on other side of vehicle.  
– If no water emerges at relevant positions, clean sunroof  
drains.  
Note  
Cleaning of the sliding sunroof drains is a repair measure which  
is subject to a separate charge when performed.

The service interval display must be reset (adapted) during  
♦ delivery inspection  
♦ Every oil change service and interval service.  
♦ each oil change (flexible/fixed)

Until now, only service events linked to oil changes could be dis‐  
played in the service interval display. Service stickers have been  
used for all other service events.

From model year 2014, a second service channel is provided so  
that both service events, even those not linked to an oil change,  
can be conveniently displayed.

Note  
It is also possible to reset the service interval display (SID)  
manually. However, bear in mind that, on vehicles coded to  
flexible interval, the SID needs to be coded to fixed intervals.  
This also modifies the adaptation channel for oil quality.

– Select the respective service which is to be reset.

– Select menu “Settings” using rocker on windscreen wiper lev‐  
er.

– Select menu “Settings” using buttons in the multifunction  
steering wheel.  
– Mark menu option “Reset” in sub-menu “Service” and reset  
service interval display by pressing OK button -1- on wind‐  
screen wiper lever or on multifunction steering wheel -5-.  
– Confirm resulting security question again with OK button.  
With function buttons on dash panel insert  
– With ignition switched off, press and hold button -3-.  
– Switch on ignition.  
– Release button -3- and press clock setting button -1- once  
briefly.  
The service interval display is now in the resetting mode.  
After a short time the display switches back to the original display.
